Salary is estimated to be around $80000-$90000 per year.
This is a non exempt role and is required to work 47.5 hours per week. Weeknight & weekend availability is a must.
The Senior General Manager is a high-impact leader responsible for driving excellence across one flagship bakery and overseeing the performance of 12 additional locations within their market. This role is all about leading with purposefrom executing the Annual Operating Plan to inspiring teams delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving strong financial results.
Youll be at the helm of bakery operations both inside and beyond the four wallschampioning flawless execution building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of growth retention and operational excellence.
Operations Responsibilities Home Bakery
- Execute daily bakery operations in line with the AOP and company standards
- Manage opening/closing duties and ensure a clean guest-ready environment
- Oversee guest satisfaction and product quality across locations
- Handle inventory and product ordering
- Resolve team and guest issues promptly; escalate major concerns to Market Leader
- Ensure compliance with all company policies (e.g. meal/rest breaks DPAC)
- Adjust labor and deployment plans to meet peak demand
- Support marketing initiatives as directed
- Assist Head Baker(s) with production to ensure timely high-quality output
People Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains a strong cross-trained team through active recruiting and development
- Ensures training is current and performance is regularly reviewed
- Coaches team members addresses performance issues and partners with HR on documentation
- Supports succession planning and maintains staffing to meet growth needs
Financial Responsibilities
- Manages cash handling and payroll accuracy
- Drives sales labor and COGS performance through team coaching
- Reviews bakery performance implements improvement plans and celebrates wins
- Approves labor schedules aligned with forecasts and budget targets
Facility & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with safety protocols audits and health standards
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation per bakery and health department guidelines
- Upholds Ecolab standards for pest control and chemical use
- Manages unexpected maintenance needs promptly
Market Responsibilities
- Oversees and supports GMs across assigned bakeries providing guidance and feedback
- Resolves operational issues and approves schedules to ensure proper staffing and training
- Ensures ongoing recruitment and staging efforts by GMs
- Supports performance management and difficult conversations as needed
- Acts as the first point of contact for guest issues scheduling and special product requests (in coordination with the Market Leader)
- Coordinates coverage for staffing gaps leaves and other needs
- May assist with special projects such as training rollouts remote recruiting new bakery openings and testing new initiatives

Qualifications
- Able to travel between locations on short notice
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Proven ability to develop teams and hold them accountable
- Detail-oriented with strong execution skills
- Self-starter with sound decision-making abilities
- Proficient in reading and leveraging P&L to drive results
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent walking kneeling bending and reaching
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to safely utilize a ladder
- Must be able to lift move and carry up to 50 pounds
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in business or hospitality management preferred
