To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Unidata / Universe/ Pick Basic / JBase / T24 Developer - IT located in Chennai / Coimbatore location.
Reporting to the Manager and the role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
Report to the Global Development Lead and work closely with the Solution Managers who provide detailed specifications and manage projects.
Responsible for analyzing requirements and converting them into technical specifications as well as develop them.
Follow defined development procedures independently.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
Batchelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Min 5Yrs of experience in software development and 2-3 Yrs of experience of Universe Multi-Value Database or similar like Pick Basic / JBase / T24 Developer etc.
Experience of Universe Basic programming language
Experience of Universe query/command language
Experience of Universe database table and index design
Experience of structured programming techniques
Basic knowledge of Unix
Good Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge on Inventory Warehouse Management Systems and Logistics software systems would be an added advantage.
Ability to support testing troubleshooting and debugging
Ability to interpret requirements and estimate development efforts
Good communication and problem solving skills.
