Securitas Canada is currently seeking a Security Supervisor for our client in Concord Ontario. Our client deals in new and usedheavy equipment engines and generators along with technology solutions and support services.You thrive in team environments and have a great attitude and passion for the security of people and property.
Position: Site Security Supervisor
Location: Concord Ontario
Shift: Monday-Friday (1500 to 2300)
Wage: 20.25 an hour
SUMMARY Maintains security and safety of people and property in assigned data center. Observes and reports activities and incidents. Management of security teams in various environments.
Responsibilitiesincludebutnotlimitedto:
- Ensurealldeliveries/contractorsareregisteredandauthorizedtobeonsitebeforeprovidingaccessto yard.
- Continuousmonitoringsecuritycamerasforsuspiciousactivity.
- Completelongfootpatrolsof all exteriorandinteriorareasof property.
- RemindingallvisitorsofToromontsHealth& Safetyguidelinesforthefacilityand yard.
- ContactToromontstaffifnecessarywhenvisitorscontractors/deliveriesarrive.
- Underthedirectionofthe DistrictManagerassistwithalladministrativedutiesfortheSecurity Department
- Orderingsupplies
- Schedulingweeklyandextra coverage.
- Providesupporttothefacilityteaminemergency situations.
- PerformweeklyauditsofSecuritypatrolsincidentreportsandequipment.
- Allother dutiesasassignedbytheDistrictManagerandFacilityManager.
Specificqualificationsforthispositioninclude:
- Abletoworkwithalllevelsof managementwithinsite and aswellaswithunionized employees
- HavingavalidSecurity GuardlicenseintheProvinceofOntario.
- AdvancedComputer Skills
- Excellenttelephoneandverbalcommunicationskills
- Apost-Secondaryeducation(preferred)
- 2-3yearsofpreviousleadership experience
- HavingavalidStandardFirstAid /AED/CPRcertificate
