The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Operations Services Division
The CFO provides the leadership management and vision necessary to ensure the Department has the proper financial controls administrative and reporting procedures and systems to ensure that the organization operates at top financial and operational efficiency while maximizing all funding sources. The position provides financial alignment with the Departments mission and strategic objectives by developing and implementing fiscal and operational information sharing solutions budgetary and forecasting models risk mitigation strategies external reporting strategies and business process improvements. The CFO is responsible for the agency-wide budget and independently evaluates the departments financial conditions.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory 2.5% an hour base pay increase effective July 1 2025 and July 1 2026.
This position is open until filled with frequent screening of applicants.
