The Opportunity:The Entry Services Coordinator in Enrollment Services position serves as a primary point of contact for new students managing the admissions process using Student Management System (PeopleSoft) and providing essential customer support for students. In addition the position supports daily operations on the Mount Vernon campus and is a liaison to the Whidbey Island Campus and the San Juan enrollment services team.
All inbound and outbound communications include face-to-face interactions and telephone and online customer service. The selected candidate will receive training in admissions enrollment services and transcript processing/evaluation processes. Further this full-time position provides information and assists students by making referrals to/ or serving as a liaison to other departments such as financial aid workforce grants advising and student life.
The Entry Services Coordinator works in an environment where technology must be infused into all enrollment services processes while ensuring confidentiality and the utmost professional service delivery.The job is a 100% full-time classified position working 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate limited evening hours. The Entry Services Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Entry Services.This position will work in the Enrollment Services Office located at the Mount Vernon Campus with occasional travel to the Whidbey Island Campus as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school completion/diploma GED or equivalent;
One (1) year of experience providing clerical support that includes data entry phone and email management and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
Two (2) years of experience in providing excellent customer service to a diverse clientele in Student Services Enrollment Services Admissions Registration Financial Aid or related area or in a program specialty that provides similar services to a specific population;
Multilingual including the ability to read write and speak at an advanced/fluent speaker level.
Associate degree or higher;
Multilingual in English and Spanish including the ability to read write and speak in Spanish at an advanced/fluent speaker level.
