The North America Stores GenAI Evaluation Media (GEM) team is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager - Technical to help shape the future of visual shopping experiences. Were building CXs and foundational capabilities to understand enhance and generate high-quality GenAI imagery videos and CXs that inspire customers and drive purchase confidence towards our vision to be the leader in visual media and tools. Key job responsibilities
We work backwards from the needs of customers to bring structure to ambiguous problems. As a Principal Product Manager Technical on this team you will:
Define the vision for your product space and outline a roadmap that has the potential to significantly impact Amazons business and customer experience.
Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing senior leadership peers and partner teams.
Partner with scientists engineers and UX designers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables including the design development testing and deployment of customer-facing experiences at scale.
Drive data-informed decisions through customer research behavior analysis and performance metrics
Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market performance and features.
Stay abreast with industry trends and GenAI offerings
- Bachelors degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
- 7 years of end to end product delivery experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
