Overall accountability for production and operational performance across all regional sites ensuring on-time delivery required quality and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Definition and execution of the regional operational strategy aligned with business goals and global operational excellence standards.
Cost control resource allocation and evaluation of site improvement proposals including oversight of operational expenditure planning.
Leadership of regional site managers promoting collaboration best-practice sharing and alignment with operational excellence principles.
Close cooperation with the Supply Chain to ensure fulfillment of production plans and operational efficiency.
Responsibility for people development fostering a collaborative work culture and driving transformation initiatives in line with strategic business requirements.
Active collaboration with key stakeholders to support the integration of strategic and operational initiatives across the organization.
Degree in Engineering or Production Technology preferably with a focus on the chemical industry or equivalent technical qualification.
Extensive experience in managing and developing international chemical production sites ideally with expertise in multipurpose plants (silicones acrylics PUs and/or organics).
Deep knowledge of chemical processes and technologies with a proven track record in driving continuous improvement in the sector.
Strong understanding of production networks and the ability to implement resilient process-driven frameworks.
Experience in a medium-sized internationally active company with effective navigation of matrix organizations and a hands-on management style.
Ability to manage complex daily operations while maintaining strategic perspective balancing short- and long-term objectives and prioritizing ESHQ requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all hierarchy levels and drive business success through strategic co-creation.
Inspirational leadership style with a focus on empowerment professional development and fostering a culture of responsibility and progress.
Analytical decisive and entrepreneurial mindset with excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
