As a VinniesVan Assistant youll support the day-to-day operations of the Vinnies Van Services across the Illawarra and/or South West Sydney regions. Youll help coordinate food services manage logistics support and supervise volunteers and ensure service delivery runs smoothly and is a casual role and flexibility is essential youll need to be available to work varied hours and cover shifts when required.
Supporting the daily operations of the Vinnies Van program including shopping for supplies coordinating donations and restocking the van.
Ensuring services are delivered in line with policies WHS and food safety standards.
Assisting in recruiting training and supporting kitchen and van volunteers.
Collaborating with the broader Vinnies team to ensure a safe and positive working environment for all.
Completing reports and administrative tasks related to service delivery.
Relevant experience in community services or a related field.
Strong administration and organisational skills including experience using Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate and support a team of volunteers.
Knowledge of WHS and food safety standards.
