Job Description
The Fargo Country Club is seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for installing maintaining and enhancing landscape elements such as lawns flower beds shrubs and trees. If you have a passion for horticulture and enjoy working outdoors wed love to hear from you!
This is a full time 8 month position with the possibility of becoming a year round role by transferring to another department during the winter months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain softscape elements including soil mulch grass plants trees and flowers
- Perform planting pruning fertilizing and irrigation system maintenance
- Identify and address plant health issues such as pests or diseases
- Ensure proper soil preparation and grading for optimal plant growth
- Planting mulching sodding and maintenance of landscape features
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping horticulture or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the landscaping industry.
- Knowledge of plant care irrigation systems and soil conditions
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for landscape aesthetics
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Team player with good communication skills
- Valid drivers license
