Job Description
RN-Emergency Department Contract Role
Location: Newburyport Massachusetts 01950
Schedule: Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM 11:30 PM)
Duration: 13-weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $2304 $2448
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Perform rapid assessments triage and implement nursing interventions for emergency patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety regulations.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and continuing education initiatives.
- License: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) AHA
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
- Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
