Position Summary:

ENTEGRA is seeking a highly motivated knowledgeable resourceful and solution-oriented Human Resources Generalist II to join our team to serve as a strategic HR business partner for our rapidly growing international business. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who brings a strong foundation in HR operations and systems and is ready to take on increased ownership of process improvements compliance oversight and cross-functional initiatives.

The HR Generalist II will lead and enhance core areas such as employee lifecycle management benefits compliance reporting and HRIS administration. This role also partners closely with key internal stakeholders across the U.S. Canada the UK Mexico and Malaysia. This is a high-impact position with visibility across the organization and significant opportunity to shape the employee experience and operational excellence at Entegra. This full time salaried role is an on-site position located in Indianapolis IN and will report directly to the Global HR Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations & Employee Experience:
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor and escalation point for employee inquiries across global locations resolving complex issues with sound judgment and a customer-first mindset.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies procedures and compliance matters.
  • Identify gaps in HR service delivery and lead initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
  • Coach and support HR Generalist I and other junior team members in day-to-day operations.


  • HR Systems & Data Integrity:
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on HRIS and third-party systems (e.g. Paylocity) driving system optimization data integrity and user support.
  • Own advanced HRIS workflows reporting and system automation to improve HR service delivery and analytics.
  • Partner with IT payroll and vendors to ensure system alignment and accuracy across platforms.
  • Lead audits of employee data and drive improvements in digital records management.


  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of onboarding internal mobility and offboarding programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless consistent experience for employees through all lifecycle stages.
  • Draft review and standardize employment documents ensuring legal compliance and alignment with global practices.


  • Benefits & Leave Administration:
  • Administer and improve processes related to benefits programs including annual renewals plan comparisons and vendor partnerships.
  • Serve as a key liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve escalated issues.
  • Lead administration and tracking of employee leaves (FMLA ADA LTD etc.) ensuring legal compliance and consistent communication.
  • Provide training and support to team members and managers on leave policies and practices.


  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Oversee HR compliance activities across multiple regions maintaining awareness of evolving employment laws and best practices.
  • Lead and complete HR audits and compliance reporting including workers compensation (OSHA WCB) retirement plans insurance and payroll-related audits.
  • Develop and maintain HR documentation templates and SOPs aligned with compliance standards.
  • Create and analyze HR metrics and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.


  • Process Improvement & HR Projects:
  • Lead or co-lead cross-functional HR initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement.
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend technology or process enhancements.
  • Support change management efforts related to organizational changes systems and new policies.
  • Assist in policy development and global alignment with employment law trends and company culture.


  • Other Duties:
  • Mentor junior HR staff and serve as a peer leader within the HR function.
  • Participate in internal audits vendor selection or system implementations as needed.
  • Represent HR in interdepartmental meetings and committees as assigned.
  • Support Payroll Processing duties as needed. Accurately and efficiently process employee payroll. Ensure timely payroll disbursement and address any payroll-related inquiries from employees.


  • Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience including supporting employees across multiple states or global regions.
  • Advanced proficiency with HR systems (Paylocity or similar) HRIS workflows and benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. and international employment laws and HR compliance standards.
  • Experience in HR reporting data analysis and creating SOPs or process documentation.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to remain calm positive and helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal written and virtual).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel Outlook Word Teams).
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones when needed.
