Job Summary
AmeriPharma is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician Processor to join our team. In this role you will play a critical part in supporting pharmacy operations by accurately processing prescriptions communicating with patients and healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment possess strong communication skills and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Schedule Details
- On-Site Orange CA.
- 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm Saturdays 7:30am-4:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacys computer system.
- Accurately type new and/or refill prescriptions.
- Communicate with patients regarding prescriptions.
- Communicate with other pharmacies to obtain and follow up on transfer requests.
- Communicate with prescriber offices to obtain and follow up on new prescription requests.
- Assist in answering new patient questions via phone and text.

- Ability to type at least 40 WPM
Education/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active CA Pharmacy Technician License
- 6 months to 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
