Job Description
PPS is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a temporary role at our semiconductor fabrication facility in Chandler AZ. The estimated length of the assignment will be 5-6 weeks ending in July 2025. It may continue beyond 7/2025 depending on progress and need.
Responsibilities:
- Using blueprints/schematics assemble mechanical sub-assemblies using hand tools and power tools for semiconductor manufacturing tools
- Performing quality inspection and testing of product to ensure functionality
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools to maintain working condition
- Follow all safety guidelines and keep work area clean and organized
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics/written instructions
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of quality inspection
- Ability to perform physical aspects of position
