Job Description
Rugby Manufacturing is looking for an HR Assistant. Starting wage is $18.00. Rugby is North Americas leading designer and manufacturer of Class 3-7 dump truck bodies landscape bodies platform bodies truck and trailer hoists related truck equipment and accessories.
Job Summary:
- Assist with finalizing timecards.
- Track employee occurrences and complete disciplinary actions as needed.
- Assist in Job Advertisement.
- Assist in Coordinating Events/Activities.
- Submit WSI incident claims as needed.
- Safety Tasks: Member of Safety Committee Plant Inspections Monthly Safety Meetings Hazard Reduction Filings Monthly Safety Trainings Keep First Aid Kits stocked & up to date.
- Assist employees in enrolling for their benefits.
- Assist with Annual Open Enrollment.
- Assist in entering new hires into the system and removing those who are terminated.
- Publish the Monthly Newsletter.
- Perform pre-employment drug screenings and orientate all new hires.
- Manages all Incoming Mail.
- Complete all receivings for Shipping.
- Assist GM with any Issues as needed.
- Assist Warranty Manager with tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of Human Resources experience preferred.
- Clear and precise oral and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to embrace continuous improvement to question and evaluate systems/procedures for the most efficient uses better communications and process improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Strong reasoning and independent decision-making skills required.
- Ability to articulate resources required for more difficult decisions.
- Ability to work with the business operating system and PCs (MS Office) required.
- Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings.
- Must be a team player that works with others in the company to meet company goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- High energy and enthusiasmnot easily discouraged.
