Position Overview:
Candidate must be able to successfully pass a motor vehicle report. Driver will be responsible for driving/operating the Vacuum trucks Roll-Off trucks Service Trucks and Waterblast equipment on and off site. Driver will be expected to operate truck(s) and tools in a safe manner in a variety of outside environments. Candidate is required to provide proof of completed OSHA 10 or higher within 60 days of original hire date.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the operation and set-up of Vac and Blast operations
- Must maintain equipment help in operation of equipment understand ability of the equipment and operate in a safe manner
- Complete a vehicle inspection report to assure vehicle and equipment are safe to operate before leaving site.
- Connect and disconnect hoses dump/unload materials clean out truck tank after daily use
- Understand different hose types tips and set ups.
- Obey traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Immediately report all accidents near misses and injuries involving employees or others to the Safety Manager or Supervisors on site
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8 hours a day (Climb ladders Bending twisting lifting up to 50lbs and Prolonged walking standing
- Follows directions of managers/lead/superintendent and clarifies responsibility if needed
- Respects self co-workers managers company other contractors and Clients
- Takes care of company owned and rented equipment returning in like manor
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic mechanical of trucks and equipments and ability to fix basic mechanical problems
- Gather correct tools needed to perform the task assigned
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Understands appropriate offload procedures
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of basic tools and their applications

- Ability to follow all safe work procedures
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other protective equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable in methods used to complete task

- Motivated to learn new skills and trades

Physical Abilities
- Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly
- Must be able to climb ladders repetitively
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8 hours a day including prolonged standing and walking bending and twisting.
- Ability to complete tasks such as loading un-loading cleaning shoveling and painting.
- Ability to safely perform duties related to confined space work.
