Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

    • Greeting and assisting customers acting as the primary point of contact for service inquiries.
    • Scheduling service appointments and coordinating with the service advisors and technicians.
    • Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles service and explaining completed repairs.
    • Handling customer complaints and ensuring their satisfaction.
    • Potentially following up with customers to ensure satisfaction after service is completed.

Administrative Support:

    • Processing service-related paperwork.
    • Maintaining records of customer interactions and vehicle service history.
    • Handling payments and completing payment transactions.
    • Maintaining billing records and invoices.
    • Potentially assisting with light bookkeeping duties.
    • Supporting the service team with various administrative tasks.
    • Maintaining clear communication within the service department and with other departments.
Essential Skills:
  • Customer Service:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Organizational and Administrative Skills:Strong organizational skills attention to detail ability to multitask and manage paperwork and records efficiently.
  • Communication:Clear and effective communication both verbal and written to explain technical information to customers and communicate with staff.
  • Problem-solving:Ability to resolve customer concerns and issues and make quick decisions when needed.
  • Time Management:Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Aptitude:A basic understanding of automotive operations and mechanical terminology to communicate effectively with technicians.
  • Proficiency with Software:Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) CRM software and common office software programs like Microsoft Office.
