Job Description

Dove Healthcare - Spooner Assisted Living 819 Ash Street Spooner WI 54801

Position Schedule:

  • full-time days
  • no scheduled weekends or holidays but participates in on-call responsibilities

Dove Healthcare - Spooner Assisted Living a 14-bed Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) has an opening for a full-time director. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations including but not limited to overseeing resident care and services maintaining regulatory compliance and supervising staff.

As the assistant director you will:

  • respond to any family and/or resident concerns
  • tour perspective families and/or residents
  • round daily and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • conduct audits per CBRF registry
  • pick up shifts when necessary and assist with on-call rotation
  • maintain employee schedules
  • maintain attendance and payroll records
  • participate in recruitment and retention activities

Required Skills:

  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and perform in an environment with interruptions multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • computer proficiency with Word Excel Outlook and other programs
  • ability to organize and set priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • must be age 18
  • previous employment in a caregiving role or at an assisted living facility
  • high school diploma or equivalency with additional education or work experience in a related area
