Job Description

J.S. Held is seeking an entrepreneurial and experienced Consulting Director to join our Environmental Health & Safety team in the United Kingdom. This is a great opportunity for someone with extensive experience in the consulting industry to take a leading role in establishing and growing J.S. Helds EHS service offering in the UK and across the EMEA region.

• Establish and grow J.S. Helds EHS consulting presence in the UK and EMEA contributing to strategic planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships leveraging your network to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
• Lead and deliver high-impact consulting engagements across a range of EHS disciplines ensuring quality innovation and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to align regional initiatives with international strategy and share best practices.
• Recruit mentor and manage a team of consultants as the practice grows fostering a culture of excellence and entrepreneurship.
• Represent J.S. Held in industry forums conferences and client engagements enhancing visibility and thought leadership.

Qualifications :

• Extensive experience in EHS consulting with a proven track record of delivering complex projects and managing client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building teams developing services and growing a business.
• Strong understanding of the UK and EMEA consulting landscape including regulatory frameworks market dynamics and client expectations.
• Demonstrated success in business development with a portable book of business or strong client network.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and inspire teams.
• Flexible technical background - expertise in any EHS-related discipline is welcome.
• Fluent in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
