Job Description

We are looking for a Director - Health Sciences to serve as ourEMEA Lead responsible for launching and growing our consulting presence across Europe. This is aseller-doer leadership rolewith strong emphasis onbusiness development client acquisition and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring aportable book of businessand may join as an individual or with a team.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and grow the Health Sciences practice across EMEA setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with global objectives.
• Develop and execute regional business development strategies to expand client relationships and service offerings.
• Oversee consulting engagements in areas such as toxicology epidemiology product safety regulatory compliance and health risk assessment.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of consultants and subject matter experts.
• Represent J.S. Held in industry forums conferences and client meetings enhancing brand visibility and thought leadership.
• Collaborate globally with colleagues across North America and APAC to share best practices and deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications :

• EU-registered toxicologist status isrequired.

• Extensive experience in health sciences consulting with expertise in one or more of the following: toxicology epidemiology product stewardship regulatory affairs or health risk assessment.

• Proven leadership experience in a regional or global consulting role ideally within a top-tier firm or specialized consultancy.

• Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks market dynamics and client expectations.

• Demonstrated success in business development client relationship management and strategic growth initiatives.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.

• Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g. German Spanish or French) are a plus.
