What Youll Do:
As a Production Technical Advisor you will directly impact the safe efficient environmentally compliant and reliable operations of our production units.
What We Are Looking For:
- Understands the units technology equipment and process control providing subject matter expertise to the unit.
- Ensures the required operating discipline best practices and technology is implemented to optimize and improve unit safety performance and production
- Builds the technical competencies of operators by sharing process knowledge problem-solving thought process and techniques and experience.
- Assists operators and engineers with process and equipment technical performance issues.
- Collaboratively works with maintenance reliability and improvement personnel to resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Leads and supports targeted process and productivity improvement teams (e.g. work with improvement and reliability engineers to resolve operational and mechanical issues).
- Contributes to updating and improving the units operating discipline and procedures.
- Leads and supports targeted process and productivity improvement teams.
- Understands and applies Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology.
- Initiates MOCs as necessary.
Skills that Make a Difference:
- BS in an Engineering discipline Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience in Production in a Chemical Manufacturing Facility.
- 2 years of Co-op experience is a plus.
