Job Description
Operating Room Nurse Manager - Surgical Services Leadership
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Operating Room Nurse Manager where youll lead a dedicated team of surgical professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. This leadership role offers the perfect blend of clinical expertise and administrative responsibility in a state-of-the-art surgical facility in Texas.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of Operating Room operations ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement staff education programs in collaboration with OR Educator
- Manage departmental policies procedures and budgets
- Foster collaborative relationships with administration medical staff and interdepartmental teams
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development of OR staff
- Direct quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
- Participate in strategic planning and resource allocation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Texas RN license or compact state license
- Bachelors degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 5 years OR nursing experience
- 2 years OR leadership experience in acute care setting
- Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge in perioperative nursing
- Excellence in team leadership and communication
