Position Summary:
Performs all functions under the supervision of the Employee Health Nurse within the Employee Health and Wellness Office that serves the employee population.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Conducts health evaluations and screenings immunizations medical surveillance TB testing pre-employment health review and management of employees with work-related illnesses injuries or exposures and workers comp program duties
Maintains employee blood borne pathogen exposures and follow-up.
Assists in administering FMLA for employees. Relays permanent restrictions to the HR Director and employees manager.
Compiles new Employee Health records chart audits for transfers and terminations.
Administers N-95 respirator protection program by performing fit test coordinating new surveillance and training as needed.
