Job Description
As a Business Support Specialist you will manage data submissions across multiple platforms ensure accuracy in every operational task and resolve issues quickly. Your role supports internal teams and external stakeholders by maintaining quality consistency and efficiency in daily processes that are vital to operational success.

Your Daily Tasks
Execute key operational tasks with precision
- Input internal data into third-party systems (e.g. Ofgem MCS manufacturer portals) based on established SOPs
- Manage multiple live tasks across different platforms without losing accuracy or pace
Problem-solve and unblock
- Investigate issues identify root causes and work through challenges logically
- Raise flags early ask the right questions and escalate issues clearly and promptly
Collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Communicate with internal teams when clarification or additional input is needed
- Share feedback on recurring issues or platform-related quirks
Strengthen and scale internal process
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation SOPs and workflows
- Suggest improvements and test new approaches as needed
What success looks like
- Submit data accurately and on time with minimal corrections
- Resolve operational blockers efficiently with minimal disruption
- Improve SOPs and documentation based on proactive input
- Handle tasks independently and raise potential issues early
- Develop subject matter expertise in specific tools portals or workflows
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
Experience & Skills
- 3 years of experience in business operations administration data processing or support roles
- Exceptional attention to detail you instinctively notice inconsistencies and errors
- Comfortable navigating multiple platforms and file types (Excel PDFs databases portals)
- Strong written English with confidence in submitting formal documentation
- Experience with government or regulated systems is a plus but not mandatory
