We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. This role involves maintaining financial records ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and supporting the financial operations of companies in the Philippines India US and Bermuda. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Financial Record Maintenance:Maintain and update accounting records and files ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with local state and federal financial regulations of each companys respective region.
- Financial Reporting:Prepare and review financial statements reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- General Ledger Management:Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger including assets liabilities and expenses.
- Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Month-End and Year-End Closures:Conduct month-end and year-end closures preparing necessary documentation for audits.
- Audit Preparation:Prepare documentation for external auditors and assist in audit processes.
- Forecasting:Develop and maintain financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications :
- Education:Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting preferably with exposure to international accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Workday).
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Certifications:CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
