A GCS Portfolio Manager has a clearly defined section of our Services Portfolio under their direction and are tasked with the definition packaging and effective release of the Services in our Portfolio. A GCS Portfolio Manager proactively drives the transition to a primarily recurring revenue model in Services and is expected to demonstrate hands-on leadership in sales cases as well as being a key interface to the global delivery organization.
This job description is for ownership of of the IFS Services GCS portfolio area IFS Industrial Cloud Services. The GCS Portfolio Manager is a key partner for sales delivery and product leadership.

As a GCS Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for core activities including but not limited to:
- Develops and executes practical hands-on solutions independently.
- Contributes to commercial decision-making with limited supervision.
- Contributes to developing and launching offerings that deliver measurable customer value.
- Assists in publishing and maintaining strategy and release plans with guidance.
- Ensures portfolio items are documented according to global standards.
- Collaborates with portfolio managers and GCS teams to align offerings with lifecycle strategy.
- Creates clear actionable content for sales and delivery enablement including marketing collateral.
- Actively seeks and incorporates stakeholder feedback.
As a GCS Portfolio Manager you are expected to have:

Specific to Industrial Cloud Services
- Understands IFS Cloud vs. Legacy differences and familiar with Azure cloud technology and service requirements.
- Aware of Cloud commercials sizing and pricing and builds key stakeholder relationships.
- Fundamental understanding of Support Policy Service Description and Service Catalog.
- Awareness of dependencies within IFS Cloud Support Terms.
Qualifications :
- Direct experience (>2 years) in or proven experience in creating innovating high revenue and value service offerings
- Relevant commercial experience in the enterprise software industry
- Experience solutioning services for customers
- Excellent communication skills to ensure services and enabled across IFS
- Understanding of Go to Market and Sales positioning of Services
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of key industry trends in their chosen field
- Desirable:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Direct experience (>5 years) in the applicable Portfolio area
- Industry qualifications
