JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements:
Bachelor of Education with a Major in English or Social
The Ideal Candidate would possess the following background philosophy and experience:
- Previous experience teaching either Social Studies or English at the junior high level.
- The ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.
- A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques effective organization skills and classroom management
- The ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
- An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.
- Open to teaching a variety of elective classes that best suit the successful applicant.
