Sunnybank Private Hospital is an evolving facility that has provided care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care. Sunnybank Private Hospital is comprised of consulting suites 7 theatres 2 procedure rooms day surgery unit Maternity Medical and Surgical wards as well as a 6 bed ICU.
As a Medical Receptionist/Administration Officer in our Consulting Suites your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and assisting patients
Managing incoming calls and emails
Scheduling and managing patient appointments
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems
Manage the collection of payments for consult and theatre appointments
Providing general day to day practice and administration support
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Experience in MS Office (Outlook Word and Excel)
Works well independently and within a team
Flexible to work a variety of shifts early/late shifts
Experience in a Medical or Hospital administration is desirable.
Knowledge of Medical Practice Software such as Gentu or Zedmed is desirable but not mandatory.
