We have a new opening for a Retail Food Manager for a community hospital in Duncan OK. As the Retail Manager you will have a strong customer service focus and experience with retail food concepts.
The successful candidate will identify customer needs and expectations. You will employ your culinary and managerial skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Promote and drive retail food sales
- Manage service levels to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage the Retail Food area (both FOH and BOH)
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus
- Work together with our dietitians on menus and offerings for our residents
- Produce high-quality plates both design
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Lead and develop team and understand how to manage conflict with resolution
- Manage and train kitchen staff establish a working schedule and assess staffs performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager Chef or related field.
- Understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- Familiar with the industrys best practices
- BS degree in culinary science or a related certificate would be a plus
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Retail food manager/chef experience
- Understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- Familiar with the industrys best practices
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office restaurant management software POS)
- BS degree in culinary science or a related certificate would be a plus
- Culinary experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Cooking: 3 years (Preferred)
