Job Title: Multi-Skilled Technician
Language Requirements: Bilingual (French/English) or French-speaking only
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite full-time
About the Role:
My client is seeking a full-time Multi-Skilled Technician to join their team at a large secured and climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Bromont QC. This is a permanent opportunity for a hands-on mechanically inclined professional who thrives in a structured and team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
Highly secured air-conditioned and clean manufacturing plant
Facility spans approximately 900000 sq. ft. situated on 500 acres of land
Team-based setting with on-site support
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks including fence and ventilator repairs
Replace motors adjust fan belts and handle other mechanical issues
Engage in physically demanding hands-on maintenance work
No electrical or HVAC responsibilities required (handled by separate teams)
Must-Have Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in general maintenance
Valid drivers license (site not accessible by public transportation)
Designation in Electromechanics (preferred title in Quebec)
Ability to work independently and complete a variety of manual tasks
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Welding experience
Experience:
A few years of relevant hands-on maintenance experience
Education:
High School Diploma required
Electromechanics degree or certification is a strong asset
Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy (for reporting emails task tracking etc.)
