GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a person who is well-rounded in the skilled trades field and building maintenance. Must be able to work alone as well as with other team members. Able to communicate and speak well with customers and team members. Must be proficient in basic computer skills Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint etc. Have considerable knowledge and input in budgeting and spending for buildings and projects. All assigned work areas will consist of Camp Guernsey North and South Ranges

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.- Work on all phases of building maintenance
- Work well with others
- Attend meetings and training as per supervisor
- Assigns work priority to lower-level subordinates
- Reads and interprets plans specifications and manufactures technical manuals
Qualifications
PREFERENCES:Should have novice computer skills ability to train others when needed communicate well with contractors vendors customers and all team members at Camp Guernsey. Preference will be given to those individuals with progressive work experience in the Skilled Trades Field.
KNOWLEDGE:- Ability to physically perform all tasks in this field
- Plan and prioritize tasks assigned to them
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelors Degree (typically in Management)Experience:1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Skilled Trades) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Skilled Trades SpecialistOREducation & ExperienceSubstitution:4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Skilled Trades) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Skilled Trades SpecialistCertificates Licenses Registrations:NoneNecessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:- Must be able to lift 50 pounds have a valid drivers license and be able to work in all types of weather conditions
