HR Coordinator - GFT Canada Montreal

About the position
Join a dynamic team at GFT Canada in Montreal! As an HR Coordinator you will work directly under the supervision of the HR Operations Director and will be an essential pillar in accompanying our professionals through every step of their adventure with GFT. Main responsibilities

  • Create unique experiences: Organize and carry out the onboarding and integration of our new professionals to give them an exceptional start from day one.
    • Contact future new employees to prepare them for their start date. Support new employees during their first days at the company.
    • Support new employees during their first days at the company.
  • Support our teams: Provide personalized support to professionals and managers particularly during periods of extended absence (paternity/maternity parental disability unpaid).
    • Hold information meetings with employees to provide them with all the information they need about the planned absence and ensure that their questions are answered.
    • Follow up with absent employees and the managers concerned.
  • Master HR data: Produce and analyze various reports from our HRIS database (absences time banks employee data etc.) to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Extract and manipulate generated reports so that they can be interpreted correctly.
    • Provide the data required by the various administrative teams and suppliers according to the necessary specifications.
  • Manage employee benefits: Ensure complete management of group insurance enrolments modifications and terminations as well as providing support for our Group RRSP.
    • Register update data and follow up with our suppliers regarding employee benefits.
    • Produce and update documentation and information accessible to employees.
  • Contribute to excellence: Prepare information required for payroll processing and actively contribute to innovative initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience both in terms of internal policies and benefits.
    • Summarize information necessary for payroll processing including absences start and end dates benefit changes etc.
    • Participate in the drafting updating and modification of our internal policies and documents provided to our employees.

Profile required

  • Experience in a similar role in human resources (1 to 2 years).
  • Available to work in the Downtown Montreal office up to 2x a week for integration and follow-up with employees as well as participation in company social and mobilization activities.
  • College or university degree in human resources business administration or related field;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees managers and administrative teams.
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Microsoft Suite)
  • Experience using an HRIS system such as SAP SuccessFactors (an asset)
  • Fluency in French and English. An intermediate level of English is required for this position due to interactions with our English-speaking colleagues.
