We are looking for an Economy Projects Officer to join our Economy and Business Team. To be successful you will share ourvalues commitment and motivation to make a difference for our residents clients and communities.
About the role
The Economy Projects Officer is a new role that will support the delivery of the Councils Economic Strategy with a priority focus on the development and delivery of the Innovation and Skills Offer at Stowmarket Innovation Gateway.
This is an exciting project for the Council and for the District and the role will report to the project sponsor Director of Place.
The role will be outward facing working with a range of stakeholders and businesses to deliver this key project as well as working with a range of Council services.
Your dynamic proactive and enthusiastic attitude will combine with project management and data analysis to be a key part of the delivery of this important project.
About you
Educated to degree level or with equivalent level of knowledge and experience gained in project and programme management processes.
You will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of project management as well as excellent problem solving and effective communication and collaboration skills.
An accomplished relationship builder you will be able to lead on projects working with a wide range of partners consultants and key stakeholders.
You will be results focussed and have a track record of delivering project based results to tight deadlines and within budget.
You will be passionate about economic growth and genuinely interested in sustainable projects that will bring growth prosperity skills and jobs to our region.
