Job Description

What We Expect from You:

Your mission as aProduct Stewardship Specialistwill be to monitor and assess current chemical product regulations and anticipate those under development integrate them into Moeve Chemicals and its subsidiaries regulatory compliance systems and coordinate their implementation and monitoring evaluating the implications for operations/processes and business.

As part of our team your responsibilities will include:

  • Regulation Monitoring: Monitor current regulations applicable to our products identify requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Representation in Consortia: Participate in and represent the company in REACH Registration Consortia safeguarding the companys interests in the registration process.
  • REACH Registration Management: Maintain and manage new REACH registrations using the IUCLID tool.
  • Collaboration with Authorities: Act as the companys contact with authorities and collaborate with them when information and documentation about our products are requested.
  • Product Stewardship Management System: Participate in the review of processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance establishing controls and KPIs.
  • Classification and Risk Assessment: Classify substance hazards conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on labeling and safety data sheet preparation.
  • Poison Centre Notifications: Manage required notifications to poison centres (IUCLID).
  • Participation in Industry Associations: Actively engage in industry associations to defend the companys interests.
  • Monitoring Emerging Regulations: Evaluate the impact of new regulations communicate findings to business units and propose action plans.
  • Regulatory Advice: Support the design of new products ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Customer Support: Provide regulatory information about products respond to questionnaires and manage necessary documentation.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with different departments to promote Product Stewardship through training and effective communication.

What We Are Looking For:

  • University degree in Science or Engineering.
  • At least 26 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of REACH regulation and experience managing REACH registrations (IUCLID proficiency).
  • High level of English (spoken and written).

Valuable Qualifications:

  • Specialized training such as: PhD in Ecotoxicology Masters in Pollution Toxicology and Environmental Health; Masters in Environmental Health; Masters in Environmental Toxicology and Risk Assessment for Health and the Environment or similar postgraduate specialization.
  • Chemical analysis skills.
