Benefits at Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services:
A typical day in the life of an Early Intervention Developmental Specialist includes providing services to parents of infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. You will develop Individualized Family Service Plans for each child and will deliver evidence-based caregiver-coaching services in natural environments such as the familys home or the childs day care. You will work with a team of otherEarly Interventionprofessionals who will coach and support you in your work with each family. You will conduct ongoing assessments for each child and family assisting with developmental evaluations for eligibility when needed. Regular participation in weekly team meetings monthly supervision sessions and quarterly department meetings are expected. Your role requires maintaining timely and accurate documentation adhering to state and agency deadlines and conducting ongoing file reviews. Collaboration with HCDDS staff and partner agencies will be essential to ensure seamless support for families in the program. To support your work you will receive an agency-provided phone and laptop along with reimbursement for travel related to home visits. This position is on our southeast team meaning you will support families in southeast Hamilton County.
