Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our team at Sycamore Court a friendly and supportive nursing home providing high quality care to older people.
This is a part time position (24hours per week) and includes some weekend work on a rota basis.
Key Duties:
- Cleaning residents rooms and shared areas to a high standard
- Handling laundry duties: washing drying ironing and returning clothing and linen
- Ensuring infection control procedures are followed
- Maintaining cleanliness safety and dignity across the Home
- Respectfully handling residents items
What we are looking for:
- Previous cleaning or laundry experience preferred but not essential (ideally in a care hotel or healthcare setting)
- A caring and respectful approach to working with older people
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Reliable flexible and a team player
- Willing to work some weekends as part of a regular rota and pick up overtime to cover for annual leave of colleagues
