Job Description

Your Role

SJGHC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the financial planning and analysis function across a diverse portfolio of private hospitals and corporate support services. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial initiatives enhancing reporting capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will lead a small team and be accountable to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning cycles optimise resource allocation and support initiatives that align with organisational goals and strategies.

The Position

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts in collaboration with hospital and functional leaders.

  • Ensure alignment of financial plans with organisational objectives and operational realities.

  • Monitor performance against budgets providing variance analysis and actionable insights.

  • Preparation of all FIC and Board papers for annual budget and quarterly forecasting.

  • Enhance monthly management reporting to deliver timely and accurate financial insights.

  • Conduct expenditure analysis to identify potential efficiency improvements.

  • Partner with accounting teams to ensure timely high-quality financial reporting and insights

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

  • Streamline planning and reporting processes through automation and financial tool development.

  • Oversee and co-ordinate projects and capital budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Work with key stakeholders to drive process improvement in projects and capital reporting.

You will leverage your proficiency in EPM systems to drive financial success and be instrumental in developing preparing and monitoring sophisticated budgets and forecasts while effectively managing profit and loss.
