As the Senior Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of the JP9101 Acquisition Program which underpins the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communication System (EDHFCS).
Reporting to the Acquisition Program Manager you will lead the planning coordination and execution of critical infrastructure works including warehousing logistics and the establishment of key facilities.
Your focus will be on ensuring scope cost schedule and risk are expertly managed in line with Babcocks Business Management System (BMS) while maintaining alignment with key project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
With a strong emphasis on governance reporting and continuous improvement you will provide trusted leadership in areas such as Earned Value Management (EVM) risk management security compliance and stakeholder communication. Your efforts will directly contribute to Australias defence capability and Babcocks reputation for excellence in program delivery.
About you
You are an experienced project manager with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong background in infrastructure projects.
You have sound subcontractor management and negotiation skills and foster positive collaboration with multi-disciplinary stakeholders whilst maintaining a firm considered and contractually sound approach.
With a thorough understanding of Quality Control and Assurance you will actively support governance and assurance reviews ensuring compliance with established processes.
Your ability to deliver results under high-pressure environments often involving competing priorities and tight timeframes is essential in this role.
