Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client a well-established company based in Northern Ireland for an experienced HGV Diesel Mechanic to join their operations team. This is a great opportunity to work with a professional and supportive garage department maintaining a modern fleet and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out MOT PSV preparation servicing and repairs on vehicles and plant.
Ensure the workshop and equipment are kept clean and in working order.
Maintain accurate service records and inspections.
Follow all Health & Safety and company procedures.
Respond to callouts and occasional overtime as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
23 years experience in diesel mechanics.
Experience in PSV prep hydraulics welding and plant maintenance.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
A proactive safety-first attitude.
Desirable Qualifications:
HGV1 Licence
Familiarity with ISO standards ()
Previous HGV driving experience
