Summary:
Work with engineering requirements work orders prints charts sketches work instructions documents and verbal or electronic information to manufacture parts and assemblies to quality standards.
Set up and perform all manual assembly operations and related machine functions required to complete assignments.
Use precision measuring instruments to accomplish tasks accurately.
Assemble and mate structural parts and assemblies by drilling routing reaming countersinking spot-facing counterboring and installing fasteners using hand-powered tools.
Successfully pass a skills demonstration to qualify for the role.
Utilize tooling to assemble components into sub-assemblies or finished items.
Verify work performed follows work instructions and meets process and engineering specifications; identify and report any discrepancies according to procedure.
Ensure equipment and tools are certified per company procedures.
Complete work within allotted schedules.
Support continuous product flow by training and assisting employees across all classification levels.
Requirements:
2 4 years of experience in a similar role.
High school diploma or GED
Proficient in interpreting engineering documentation and working with precision measuring tools.
Skilled in manual assembly and related machine operations.
Ability to pass a hands-on skills demonstration.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
