RN - Float Pool | Permanent Role

As a Float Pool RN you play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across multiple hospital units. You will assess patient conditions develop individualized care plans and evaluate responses to treatments in a fast-paced environment. Working within our professional nursing model you help ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care for patients by understanding both their unique needs.

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care across multiple units (ICU Med/Surg Telemetry etc.).
• Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care based on nursing best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication with healthcare providers.
• Serve as a flexible team member quickly adapting to different units as needed.
• Promote patient safety satisfaction and quality outcomes.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
