Normal Work Schedule:Varies; must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Job Summary:The Emergency Medical Services Courtesy Worker provides routine non-emergency courtesy services as needed (wheelchair assistance minor first-aid hydration etc.). Carries equipment and supplies for medical teams. Runs errands for medical teams as needed.
Required Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.
Skills and Knowledge:Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Ability to communicate effectively with EMS staff and health care professionals. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information and the requirement to follow HIPPA regulations at all times.
Ability to cope with stressful conditions. Ability to demonstrate tact versatility and adaptability. Ability to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and directional initiative. Working knowledge of data entry and Microsoft Office. Skill in exercising initiative judgment problem-solving and decision-making.
