Job Description
- Support the Director of Breast Imaging with daily department coordination and workflow management
- Coordinate and prioritize scheduling for breast imaging exams biopsies and follow-ups
- Track biopsy recommendations and ensure compliance with MQSA regulations
- Communicate pathology results and imaging findings to referring providers and patients
- Provide professional empathetic support to patients throughout their imaging journey
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure fast report turnaround and timely follow-up
- Assist with imaging approvals from outside facilities and maintain regulatory compliance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a breast imaging environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of mammography equipment and PACS systems
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
- Previous experience coordinating care and understanding MQSA regulations is preferred

Education
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography Registered Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS, RVT, or CCI) Current BLS certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced outpatient environment
