Job Description
Job Title: Supervisor
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in an Oil & Gas or Petro-Chemical facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on supervisory experience a strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and the ability to manage teams and deliver results in a high-risk compliance-driven environment
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily site activities ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety standards.
Allocate tasks and monitor performance of technicians operators and support staff.
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety quality and environmental procedures (HSE).
Monitor tools equipment and materials inventory to ensure work continuity.
Conduct routine inspections audits and toolbox talks to enforce discipline and compliance.
Liaise with engineers managers and contractors to report progress and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records work permits and job safety analysis (JSA) documentation.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new or junior staff.
Ensure immediate reporting and handling of incidents near misses or equipment faults.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Chemical or relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in Oil & Gas or Petro-Chemical industries.
Valid certifications related to industrial safety and permit-to-work systems (preferred).
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations (HSE)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs isometric drawings and work permits
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and time-sensitive operations
Basic computer literacy for reporting and documentation
