Job Description
This role requires a deep understanding of the industry strong analytic skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. The Estimator will play a critical role in helping to securing new business by providing detailed and competitive quotations while seeing the projects through from start to finish.
Qualifications :
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of engineering principles.
- A mechanical/ electrical engineering qualification e.g. HNC /HND or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes cost analysis and technical drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good numerical skills
- Excellent planning organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all key information at enquiry stage is obtained to offer the best suitable solution to the client.
- You will be able to confidently discuss information of a technical nature with customers.
- You will be looking at building designs and ensuring they are compliant with current regulations and industry best practice.
- Support customers and colleagues to assist with resolution of technical enquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide technical support to the external sales teams and facilitate project progression by attending project meetings on site or via Teams.
