EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE PROVOST (EA) Office of the Provost will provide high-level administrative support to the Provost ensuring seamless coordination of priorities communications and engagements; play a critical role in aligning the Provosts schedule with strategic institutional goals and managing the preparation tracking and collection of briefing materials for events meetings and public appearances; serve as a trusted liaison fostering effective relationships with leadership teams faculty staff and external partners ensuring clear and timely communication on behalf of the Provost; represent the Provosts office with professionalism and discretion often acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; directly supervise the Provosts Administrative Assistant providing guidance support and oversight to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the office; and provide technical and administrative support on a range of special projects and initiatives.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: High school degree or equivalent and a minimum of seven years of related experience; be well-informed about campus national and global events; the ability to anticipate the needs of a high-profile executive think strategically and act with discretion and sound judgment; strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; be a team player who works independently and collaboratively within the Provosts Office and with the Presidents Office on shared administrative functions; proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Google Suite; and demonstrated excellent organizational project management and writing skills. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week on campus.
