GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The High School Registrar has the responsibility of supporting the high school counseling program through the correct and accurate handling of student records and transcripts as well as informing students and parents about records requirements enrollment requirements and withdrawal procedures and requirements based on local state and federal statutes and guidelines. Major responsibilities include organization of student records and addressing requests for transcripts and records for a variety of federal state and local agency and parental requests.
ESSENTIAL TASKS

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Possesses a well-developed attention to detail and documented expertise with a variety of computer software programs. Experience managing extensive numbers of confidential records is preferred. The Registrar must be able to multi-task in a busy work environment while being responsive to the needs of students parents faculty school counselors and administrators. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least three years experience as an officer manager for a high school counseling office or an Associates Degree in Office Management or Business Management with institutional experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typically working at a desk or table intermittently sitting standing and stooping. This position requires the ability to communicate (oral and written) coordinate instruct compute and to evaluate on a consistent and on-going basis. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental conditions are typical of an inside office (clean temperature controlled low hazard low noise level).
