About thePosition
CDOTs Region 2 South Program currently has 2 positions available located in Pueblo CO. Both positions assist engineers in the practical application of engineering processes and techniques related primarily to materials testing and construction inspection of highway construction projects. These positions require obtaining field testing certifications necessary to perform associated tasks in accordance with CDOT Contract and Industry standards. The work includes running standard field tests measurements or quantitative analyses on samples; operating equipment or instruments as instructed; recording and comparing results with established standards or specifications; collecting field data or samples; and reporting data information on tests samples or activities. Ensures that materials incorporated into projects are in compliance with the contract of plans and specifications and conducts inspections of construction projects to ensure that contractors work is in conformance with construction plans and specifications.
