About You
As the Payroll and Pensions Account Manager youll manage all aspects of pensions administration ensuring compliance with statutory regulations while delivering a high-quality and customer-focused service to our employees and stakeholders.
Youll be responsible for overseeing a team of specialists and ensuring our policies systems and communications align with the latest legislation. Youll maintain strong working relationships with key partners such as the West Midlands Pension Fund and Teachers Pensions and contribute to shaping the future direction of our pensions function. From advising officers and elected members to responding to Pensions Ombudsman queries your expertise will drive consistency clarity and compliance across the board.
Were looking for someone with extensive experience in pensions administration a deep understanding of regulations excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to lead presentations and briefings. Your strong analytical communication and organisational abilities will support the Councils strategic priorities and ensure continued excellence in service delivery.
