Seeking qualified part-time candidates to teach Philosophy Religion and/or Humanities courses.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Teach curriculum courses in the subject matter in both the University Transfer and Associate in Applied Science degree areas. Courses are taught in traditional seated online and hybrid formats. Classes may be taught on the main campus or at area high schools. Other tasks will include the development of course plans tests identifying and assessing student learning outcomes excellent communication skills with the student and the Department Head remaining up-to-date on technology and methods of teaching with technology maintains accurate records of student work and attendance grading and returning student work in a timely manner counseling students regarding their grades and progress in the course supporting the Department Division and College goals and providing requested data in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Philosophy Religion or a Masters degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally-accredited institution.
Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in the Subject Area. Preference will also be given to applicants who are available to teach both in-person and online. Experience with learning management systems (such as Moodle or Blackboard) will also be considered.
