What you will be doing:


The Information Technology Support Administrator serves as a key member of the technology team under the

Operations Department. In this role the Information Technology Support Administrator maintains high quality technology support services and effective day-to-day operations support in all areas of IT. The Information Technology Support Administrator develops and maintains good customer relationships while providing advanced technical support for the institutions technology support initiatives.


  • Maintains and assures accessibility of client hardware software and technology equipment to support uninterrupted business operations
  • Maintains centralized systems servers and databases to provide uninterrupted services for all office facilities departments remote support IT service management system email services and enterprise level information systems
  • Develops strategies tactics processes and support structures required to provide high-quality IT services
  • Assists departments with employee hardware software support and coordination of upgrades advises them about alternatives to meet their computing needs and assists them in fulfilment of associated service requests
  • Assists in the development of implementation strategies for new tools methodologies and leads the evaluation and testing of such tools and methodologies
  • Provides updates on end user incidents service request and interruptions in service
  • Contributes to the development of new and existing IT policies and procedures by serving as a key member of the Operations team
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the enterprise information systems software and services supporting the institutions IT support efforts and initiatives
  • Implements configures and administers software and services and coordinates support efforts with team members and students
  • Maintains effective relationships with key business stakeholders end users and third-party service providers
  • Acts as primary point of contact for IT support services for student helpdesk issues
  • Contributes to the design of IT support services for new development and system implementations
  • Models and promotes professional behavior coordinates staff and activities
